Augustus Peña Series

In The Augustus Peña Series opener, Assassin’s Breach, Augustus was forced to kill in the name of family, as opposed to country.  

Battling fiercely to save his family from slaughter, Augustus unpredictably came into possession of an unclaimed winning jackpot lottery ticket worth millions of dollars purchased by one of his attackers.

In the second installation of the Series, Patriot Traitor, Augustus devises a scheme to use this jackpot lottery ticket to expose the government officials who targeted him, and his family, for assassination.  But his violent quest to reveal the truth had dire consequences.

Although those who supported Augustus’ efforts regarded him as a Patriot, those who tried mercilessly to prevent the truth from coming to light, viewed Augustus as a Traitor.

Nearly two decades have passed since the carnage inflicted upon Augustus’ family, and the subsequent exposure of government criminality.

Throughout this period, Augustus remained in a sanctuary to heal not only from physical, emotional, and psychological wounds, but from an incurable illness.

Cloaked in the shadows to evade detection from the wickedness that caused him such great pain, Augustus learned to use his illness as a sword to battle on behalf of righteousness before he dies by bestowing Terminal Gifts.
